Nicole has over 10 years of experience in medical billing. She is excited to help you increase your practice’s revenues and reduce the time to collect payments while delivering the highest quality customer service.
Medical Billing Experience
Nicole graduated with honors from the Institute of Business and Medical Careers with a degree in Medical Billing and Coding. She is a Certified Medical Billing Specialist (CMBS) and Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA). She is a member of the Medical Association of Billers (MAB) and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
Nicole began her career working at one of the largest outsourced medical billing companies in Colorado where she handled the medical billing for 20 practices across multiple specialties. She helped increase the number of claims paid by insurance on the first submission with a clean claim accuracy rate of at least 97%.
In her next role, she managed the full cycle billing process for a Pediatric Center in Boulder. She handled all parts of the billing, from verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits, charge entry, and claims scrubbing to payment collection and handling unpaid and denied claims, as well as auditing for compliance.
Founding Colorado Medical Revenue Services
Nicole founded Colorado Medical Revenue Services to help Colorado medical practices increase the speed and amount of collections for medical services rendered and provide personalized, boutique customer service to her clients. She is excited to help your practice save time and money by giving providers full access to her specialized knowledge in medical billing and coding and revenue cycle management, without having to invest in immense training or hiring additional staff.
When Nicole is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, ages 13 and 9 in their hometown of Boulder. She loves exploring the outdoors and cooking delicious meals for her family.
